BIG 'A'

I had a chance to get into this big "a" in Lodz, Poland, in May this year. It is part of "Manufaktura", rebuilt and revitalized big textile industry complex from the first half of the 19th century, when Lodz was "Polish Manchester". Why I was there? I was attending 12th International Triennial of Tapestry, where my work has been included in the selection. I don't weave (anymore) and neither do most of the other participants - the term "tapestry" is used very broadly, meaning Art Textiles, covering all fibre techniques and materials.
